On October 19, belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. company Rosomak S.A. announced that at the end of September, an annex to the license agreement with Patria Oyj on the production and sale of Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carriers entered into force.
According to the company’s announcement, the extension of the license period will enable Rosomak S.A. implementation of contracts for the supply of specialist APC versions in accordance with the adopted schedules, including Artillery Reconnaissance Vehicles, Technical Assistance Vehicles and Contamination Recognition Vehicles. It will also be possible to sign new, currently negotiated contracts, incl. for Command Vehicles and Medical Evacuation Vehicles, the completion date of which will be within the term of the license. Currently, the contract is valid until the end of 2028.
In over fifteen years, the Polish Army has ordered nearly 1,000 Rosomaks – the first contract, in 2003, included 690 units, and in 2013 another 307 were ordered. Currently, Rosomak S.A. carries out conceptual work on the modernization of already delivered cars, as part of the MLU program.
