Rheinmetall has received an order from the German Bundeswehr to supply a further 57 heavy tractor units in the 70-tonne payload class.
Germany’s Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has awarded Projekt System & Management GmbH (PSM), a joint venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall, an order to retrofit a further 143 Puma infantry fighting vehicles.
The German Bundeswehr has contracted with Rheinmetall to supply 120mm mortar ammunition and modernize its mortar systems. Booked in 2021, the order represents gross volume of around €27 million in total.
