Defence buys new helicopters for special operations
The Ministry of Defence is purchasing 14 new helicopters for special operations. The aircraft follow the Cougar transport helicopters.
Poland finished Airbus dispute
December 20th the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna newspaper informed that the Polish Treasury made a settlement with the Airbus concern, which is to finish the Polish cancellation of 50 the H225M Caracal multirole transport helicopters purchase.
First ever naval combat H225M delivered to the Brazilian Navy
Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first H225M in naval combat configuration to the Brazilian Navy. Stationed at the naval base in São Pedro d’Aldeia, the aircraft will boost the Brazilian Navy’s mission capabilities including anti-surface warfare and maritime surveillance.
France orders H225Ms and VSR700 prototype
The French Minister of Armed Forces, Florence Parly, has announced that the Armament General Directorate (DGA) has signed an order to purchase eight additional H225Ms and a second VSR700 prototype.
